Bob Theriault started the company in the 1980s with one rule: do it right the first time. Forty-some years later the business is still family owned, still based in Smithville, and has never received a single complaint. Bob looks at every job himself, gives you a straight answer about what it needs, and gives you a free estimate before any work starts.

Do you charge for estimates? No. Every estimate is free, and Bob comes to see the problem in person before quoting.
What areas do you serve? Smithville and the surrounding Niagara Region, from Stoney Creek and Hamilton through Grimsby, St. Catharines and Welland to Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Can you fix a leaking basement from the outside? Yes. Depending on the cause, we repair from the exterior by excavating and waterproofing the foundation wall, or from the interior where that is the better fix. We will tell you which one your house needs and why.
What is foundation underpinning? Underpinning extends or strengthens an existing foundation so it sits on stable ground or can carry more weight. It is also how a crawl space or low basement is turned into a full-height basement.
How long has Theriault been in business? Since the 1980s. The company was founded by Bob Theriault and is still family owned and run from Smithville, Ontario.
